In its essence, the Fair Housing Act protects buyers from any kind of discrimination. This can differ depending on the state, so new agents tend to break this particular law. For example, some states identify the LGBTQ genders as part of the act, while others don’t.

Additionally, because of the growing uniqueness of every human globally, all kinds of discrimination (e.g., obesity or overweight) could be taken into account despite having no relation to the Fair Housing Act.
